Julia Engel - She's Just Like You

This past week, I had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to listen to famed blogger, Julia Engel of Gal Meets Glam, speak at the Southern C Summit in Sea Island, GA. 

Not only did I get to hear Julia and her husband, Thomas Berolzheimer, speak on how your small business can survive in an Amazon-driven world but I also got to MEET them. Talk about a fan-girl moment. I was literally shaking as I went to "grab a cup of coffee" that happened to be right where the two were standing after their presentation. 

We had an awesome conversation that I really wanted to share with you. I was shocked to find out that Julia, with 1.2 million Instagram followers and a dress line carried by Nordstrom, has struggled in her business just like every other Influencer.
